The following insurance plans are accepted:

Cigna (except BayCare Hospital system)
Medicare
Tricare and Champus
United Health Care

Co-payments are collected at the time of the visit. There are charges associated with not staying current with your financial responsibilities; they can be found in our policies.

Dr. Tyson’s staff will verify your insurance prior to your first appointment. However, it is the patient’s responsibility to alert the staff to new insurance or changes in coverage. If you do not provide accurate information you may be responsible for the charges. We encourage every patient to call their insurance prior to each appointment to verify eligibility, deductible, coinsurance and copayment benefits for the mental health portion of your plan.

Please understand that every policy is different, no matter who the insurer is, and the more assumptions you make, the more likely you are to end up paying the full amount of your care.
